Caged Ape Arena — House Rules
Draft — last updated June 11, 2026
This is a draft of the Arena house rules for review during the testing phase. The five core rules below are exactly what you accept in the app before you first play; counsel will finalize this page.
The Caged Ape Arena is the social side of Cred: members create challenges, pools, calls and callouts, played with Play Cred for bragging rights. These rules keep it fair, safe, and free of real-world value.

Play Cred has no value
Play Cred is play money inside the platform. It cannot be purchased, cannot be cashed out, and cannot be exchanged — inside or outside the platform — for money, merchandise, tickets, discounts, services, or anything else of value. Selling or trading Play Cred or Arena outcomes for anything of value is prohibited and may lead to removal of games, reversal of results, and account restrictions.
Who can play
You need an account in good standing. New accounts must meet minimum account-age and logged-activity floors before creating games, and play is rate-limited: caps on open games, pending challenges, daily Play Cred in play, and weekly global pools. The Arena is part of a combat-sports training platform and is not directed at children.
Conduct and moderation
No harassment, hate, threats, or targeting. Text you write is filtered, every game can be reported, and staff can remove entries (with the Play Cred returned), void entire games with full refunds, and turn global games off platform-wide. Repeat offenders can lose Arena access.
Results, settlement and disputes
Challenges settle from verified training data where possible, otherwise by both sides confirming the result. Post only honest results — a posted result is final. If the two sides disagree, or you believe a result is wrong, raise a dispute: staff review it and their ruling is final. Games that never settle are refunded at their deadline, and draws or cancelled games return everyone's Play Cred.
Privacy in the Arena
Other members see you as your first name and last initial. A call about a member only goes live with that member's consent, and weight-based challenges only ever show distance to target — never a weight. Blocking a member hides the two of you from each other across the Arena.
Enforcement
Staff act on reports and disputes from the console, and every staff action is audited. The platform can pause global games or the whole Arena at any time. These rules work alongside the Terms of Service — where they overlap, the stricter rule applies.
Changes to these rules
The house rules are versioned. If they materially change, you will be asked to accept the new version before you play again.
App stores are not involved
App-store platforms are not involved in the Arena. The Caged Ape Arena is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Apple, Google, or any app-store operator. Apple is not a sponsor of, nor involved in, the Arena or any game within it in any manner.
